The iconic Menara MBJB Tower is a 14-storey Grade A office tower located in Malaysia and is the new headquarters for the Johor Bahru’s local council.
We undertook the design and install of smart building systems to improve the existing traditional meeting room booking system and event display. By applying an integrated workplace strategy, the local council was empowered to improve staff productivity and enhance their visitors’ experiences.
Workplace Integration Focus
- Integrating meeting room booking system with their corporate calendar Outlook 365, and Optergy building management system that allows for meeting room pre-cool upon room bookings. Bookings for the meeting rooms can be done via tablet, mobile app, Outlook 365.
- Displaying live meeting room event details on a dedicated web-page for public view on their mobile phones/desktop.
- TV displays & digital signages that shall contain information including live meeting room details that can transform to evacuation details upon fire alarm trigger.
- Queue Management System whereby tickets can be ‘collected’ using the smart building mobile app.
